Privacy Policy

Last updated August 15, 2026

We collect the minimum information needed to run this site and our newsletter. This page describes what that is, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

What we collect

  • Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter, submitted directly by you through the signup form.
  • Aggregate, anonymized analytics — page views and general usage patterns, collected without cookies or cross-site tracking, so we can understand what readers find useful.
  • Saved articles — if you use the “Save” feature, the list of saved stories is stored only in your browser’s local storage. It never reaches our servers and isn’t tied to an account or identity.

How we use it

Your email is used solely to send the newsletter you signed up for. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand readership and improve the site — we don’t build individual reader profiles, and we don’t sell reader data to third parties.

Third-party services

We use Resend to deliver our newsletter and Vercel to host the site and run anonymized analytics. Each operates under its own privacy policy governing how it processes data on our behalf.

Your choices

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link that removes your email immediately. Saved articles can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage for this site. To request removal of any data we hold, contact us at editors@bendiii.example.com.

Children’s privacy

bendiii is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
